Thailand trounced Japan 3-0 sets to win the Women's Senior Volleyball Championship in Nakhon Ratchasima on Saturday.
Thailand outplayed Japan and won three straight sets (25-22 25-18 25-17). They are crowned champions for 2nd time after their maiden vicotry in Hanoi in 2009.
The final match was much anticipated as fans queued up to buy few remaining tickets from 2am of Saturday. This is also the second time Thailand in the final. It beat China 3-2 sets on Friday to reach the final stage.
